Mr Li Xutao General Manager of Yunnan Construction and Investment Holdings Group of China met the Hon Karu Jayasuriya the Speaker of Parliment and hand over goods worth of Rs 500,000.00 to be distributed among people of Sri Lanka who were displaced due to recent floods .Donation of food and water to Sri Lankan People affected by floods Sponsored by Yunnan Construction and Investment Holdings Group of China was coordinated by Sri Lanka China Buddhist Friendship Association (SLCBFA) .

A symbolic hand over was made to officials of Yunnan Construction and Investment Holdings Group to Hon Speaker in the presence of Mr.Sumathi Dharmawardena Attorney at Law Hon President , Col (rtd) Sudath Madugalle , Ms Prabhodhini Marasinghe The Treasurer and Mr Thisath Wijegunawardena Presidents Counsel of SLCBFA on 01st June 2017 at his official residence .
